McLeod, Joseph Clarence “Steve”
November 7, 1946 – February 6, 2022
FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
The family of Joseph Clarence “Steve” McLeod, sadly announce his peaceful passing at Georgetown Hospital, on February 6, 2022, at age 75. Joseph Clarence McLeod is predeceased by his wife Bernice Anne McLeod (2012). Loving father of Marla and David Forbes of Guelph, Joe McLeod of Waterloo, Naomi McLeod and her partner Ken Phillip of Guelph. Cherished papa of Brianna and Marlena Forbes, Haley and Carly McLeod, Cody and Kayla McLeod. Great grandfather of Sophia, Isabell, and Hannah. Youngest brother of Stephen and Lachlan McLeod, Jimmy and Barb McLeod, Betty and the late Albert Casey.
He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Joseph will be missed by his best friend Ethna Maughan-Montgomerie and her wonderful extended family that got him on cruises and travelling with them.
Joseph will be remembered as a retired business owner, he enjoyed cruising around town in his beloved Dodge Challenger, hanging at Rallis Burger with his close friend Gus, and catching up with locals. He took pride in all his grandchildren. He loved fishing, nature, and animals. He may have lost his short battle with cancer, but he did so with courage and dignity.
He was always “positive” and his family are “so proud”.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, He’s gone fishing…..
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date
with private interment at Fairview Cemetery, Acton
