Cormier, Joseph William “Bill” – Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Ann (nee: Driscoll). Loving father of Captain Brian Cormier RCAF and his wife Nancy, Chris Cormier and his wife Jennifer. Caring grandfather of Carolyn, Michelle, Hannah and Grace. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Bill is gone to keep his tee time in Heaven. He could be found 5 days per week on the Burford Golf Course. He will be missing his golf buddies Peter and Claude. He was also an avid walker and a member of the Brant County Men’s Probus Club. Bill was born in Woodside, Nova Scotia and worked for the Ontario Ministry of Labour. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. A Mass of Catholic Burial/Cremation will take place at the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish, 181 King Street, Burford on Thursday at 10:00 am. Donations to Prostate Cancer Canada would be appreciated. Donations and condolences are available online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Bill in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.

    So sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. We have lots of memories from Burlington and Alabama. It was great at St Paul’s Church dances doing the electric slide. Those were the days!

  2. Ann, I’m so sorry to you and your family, to hear that Uncle Bill has passed away. I have very fond memories of him.
    Hope he is getting those cleats on for another round of golf. I wish you peace, and I will never forget that smile of his.
