BEDARD, Joseph Ariste (Joe)
August 7, 1929, – April 24, 2022.
It is with great sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of Joe in Ottawa on April 24th, 2022, at the age of 92. Joe was a son in the family of six predeceased by his father Patrick Bedard and his mother Ida (nee Cote). He is survived by daughters Suzanne Bedard, Tamantha “Tammy” Bedard, Renee Bedard, son Michael Bedard, and grandchildren Juniper, Willow, and Christopher. Joe loved sports, especially hockey. He worked for the Ministry of Natural Resources in forest fire operations and enjoyed his years working with junior rangers. The family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday April 29, 2022, between the hours of 11am and 1pm. A Funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1pm with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
