Peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Leonilda for 54 years. Loving father of Ricky Torres (Patricia), Eddy Torres, Diane Widdup (Cameron), Darlene Meville-Cryer (Gregory). Adoring vavô of Caitlin (Rob), Ariel, Matthew, Nicco, Alexandria, Kyara, Thomas, Nathaniel, Andrew, Brayden, and Owen. Proud bisavô to Emilia and Richard. Devoted son of the late José and Silvina Torres. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Julieta and the late Fernando Torres, Mario and Zenaide Torres, Altina and Volverio Medeiros, Julieta and Fernando Melo, the late Ofélia and the late José Manuel Amaral, Norberto and Fatima Pacheco, Octavio and Maria Pacheco, the late Aida and Daniel Medeiros, the late Edward and Jill Torres, Donald Torres. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Friday, January 28 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary’s Church on Friday, January 28 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations to the poor would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Together, until the end.
