It is with great sadness we announce the passing of José Oliveira, surrounded by his loving family on June 14, 2022 at 87 years of age. Beloved husband of Agrinoalda for 60 years. Loving father of Joe, Maria (Greg Quick), Manuel (Paula), Lucy (Dave Parent) and Peter (Amanda). Treasured Grandpa of Kyle, Kendall, Elliott, Julia, Emma, Matthew, Avalina and Owen. Survived by his brother Mareon and his sister Maria de Carmo. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. José proudly worked for Chrysler for 30 years and retired in 1999. He was an avid gardener and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. José regularly attended OLPH church and was a man of great faith. If you so desire, Mass offerings would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Friday, June 17, 2022 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 2:30 p.m. On Saturday, June 18, 2022 family and friends are invited to meet after 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (804 Grand Marais Rd E.) followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
