Beloved Partner, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Jordan on November 30, 2022 at his residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Jordan leaves behind his partner Lana, sister Dezirae (Rich), nieces and nephews Brielle, Logan, Jade and Levi, multiple godchildren, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Jordan was predeceased by his parents Gladys Mckay and Stuart Belcourt, step-dad Craig Gaskin, grandparents Annie and Morris Mckay, auntie Toots, uncle Cecil, great grannie Angelique Chartier and cousin baby Shab.
Jordan lived in Edson for the first few years of his life. When grandma Annie got sick, Gladys decided that she would move back to Grand Rapids to take care of her mom; Jordan and Dezirae went with her. Gladys then moved to Winnipeg where Jordan went to school for his high school years and graduated with his GED.
Jordan went on a few holidays; a couple to name was when Gladys took Jordan to Scotland to go visit Laura & Ross in 2007 and when Gerald took him to Mexico for Christmas in 2008.
Jordan also travelled to the states, Alberta and B.C. numerous times.
Jordan had a soft heart. He was great with kids and he was one proud uncle. Jordan loved to laugh, was a prankster and although he played tricks, he also got pranked. One of the famous tricks played on him was his eyebrows getting shaved off.
The last few years in Winnipeg is where he found love. He met Lana in September 2021 and she supported him throughout the grieving process of losing his parents. Dezirae and the family would like to thank Lana for keeping him within boundaries during troubling times.
Jordan lived an amazing life and enjoyed the short time he had here on this earth. He was one of a kind and his family will miss him very much. We will always remember the fond memories of him.
Wake Service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg. A Celebration of Jordan’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with final viewing to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel.
Honorary Pallbearers: Mitch Mousseau, James Mckay, Blaine Constant, Anthony Balyk, Paige Larocque, Mckaylynn Constant, Shannon Robinson, Phoebe Ferland, Jonette Gamblin and all his cousins aunts, uncles and friends.
