JONES William Gordon Bill 2022

Jones, William Gordon “Bill”. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Dad, Grandfather and Great Grandfather in his 96th year, now reunited with his soulmate Betty (2011).
Bill Jones father of Loretta Ann (David), Dianne (+ Willy 2013) and Rose Marie (Chuck). Proud and loving Grandfather of Jonathan, Everett, Nicole, Tyler, John William, Jesse and all of his great grandchildren.
Bill grew up in Port Maitland and was a fisherman until he met Betty and settled down eventually went to work for ERCO for the next 35 years. Always the life of the party! He enjoyed coaching his daughters and watching baseball. Bill loved playing hockey and skated with the Mudcat Oldtimers for many years retiring from the game in his eighties. He was a life long fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Blue Jays and Argos. For many of his friends he will be forever remembered as “Too Tall Jones”. A very special thank you to all the staff at Grandview Lodge for their kindness, care and compassion. They are truly the very best in their fields, each and every one of them!
Friends are invited to join the family at Sensabaugh Cemetery, 85829 Canborough Road on Monday August 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm for a Graveside Committal Service. Memorial donations to Grandview Lodge Residents Council would be appreciated. Online condolences and photos at jwhartfuneralhome.com
