It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of John Thomas Elliott, on June 15th, 2022 in his 75th year. Beloved and devoted husband of Debby Elliott (Wildfong) 48 cherished and loved years. Loving father of Marcia Elliott (Cody McGowan). Proud grandfather of Austin, Kyia, Nathan, and Kielin.
John is survived by his foster mother Phyllis Spearing. John is also survived by his siblings Bob, Len, Fred, Dan, Dave, Sharon, Sandy, also survived by his foster siblings; Mike, John, Tammy, Barb, Gail, Jody, and Sue.
Predeceased by his parents Gertrude and Bob Elliott and his foster father Charles Spearing, and his foster parents Edna and Stan Wyatt. Predeceased by his 4 brothers, Dick, Butch, Jim and Don; and his 2 foster brothers, Chuck and Lee.
John will always be remembered for his passion of fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 19th, 2022 from 1:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 20th, 2022 at 11:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society, the M.S Society of Canada, or a charity of one’s choice.
