John Rozumniak
July 5, 1930 – August 26, 2022
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Rozumniak at the age of 92 years.
John was the ninth of twelve children born to Onufry and Anna Rozumniak, on July 5, 1930, in Hilliard, Alberta. Besides his parents, John is predeceased by many brothers and sisters; Mary, Fred, Olga, Tillie, Harry, Rosie, Katie, Walter, and Mike. We are sure they are all there to welcome him to his everlasting life, especially his mother, Anna, whom he lost in 1940.
John is survived today by two sisters, Nancy Cikaluk and Alice Skulsky; two sisters-in-law, Frances Rozumniak and Liz Rozumniak, along with nieces and nephews.
John was a loyal and dedicated long-time employee of the Edmonton Transit System, and a proud member of ATU Local 569. John lived at McQueen Place for the past eight years. He definitely enjoyed his time there, and according to the staff, John’s friendly and easygoing personality made him a favorite resident!
You are invited to attend a Funeral Service and Celebration of Life on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
