Bob was employed as an electrician with the Ice Breaker John A Macdonald. He worked as an industrial millwright with Dennison Mines in Elliott Lake, Ontario. Bob was a very quiet person who enjoyed spending time with his family and his most favorite pastime was watching TV. For a number of years he stayed in the homer with the help of caregivers and he appreciated each one. He then resided in the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Center for the past 4 years.
A very special thank you to niece Abby Maloney who was at his side during his final hours. Also, a very special thank you to Dr. Woolfrey and all of the nurses on Unit A for all the care and compassion over the past few years.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of John
