Obituary of John Phillip Cunningham
With great sadness, we announce the passing of John Phillip “Phil” Cunningham of Mactaquac, New Brunswick, on Wednesday February 9, 2022. He spent his final two weeks of his life in Hospice house in Fredericton. He began his life journey in Chilliwack, BC on July 31, 1956. The son of the late Addison and Jean (McKeen) Cunningham.
Phil became a steward of this planet on his journey to being an artist and craftsman. He was an avid and active member of The Friends of Mactaquac Park.
Phil is survived by his brother, Malcolm (Sandy) Cunningham of Lower Sackville, NS; nephews Clinton (Katrin) Cunningham and Chad (Shannah) Cunningham; great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Ethel Cunningham.
Besides his parents, Phil was predeceased by his brother Robert (Bob) Cunningham.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr., Fredericton, NB. At Phil’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Remembrances may be made to Hospice House, Fredericton, NB. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
