Obituary of John Maurice Pilon
Jack (John) Maurice Pilon, passed away surrounded by love on December 23, 2022, in his 78th year. Dad cherished the beauty of nature, enjoying the cottage with Mom, baking bread, cooking, fishing, hunting, The Habs and bragging about his grandkids. He is survived by his life long love and best friend, Ann (Cass), and their children, Jackie Waller (Steve) and Dave Pilon (Stephanie). Very proud Poppy to Jack, Talen, Ronan and Kael Waller, Zack Pilon and Jake Fox. Much loved “big” brother to Pat (Percy) Headlam, Yvonne (Wayne) Hamilton, Jeannette (Lester) Holmes and brother-in-law to Gloria (Dale) Clifford and Lynda Wallace. Predeceased by his parents, Vince and Cecile Pilon, Ross and Gladys Cass, brother-in-law, Alex Fitzsimmons, and nephew, Billy Crofts. Dad will be greatly missed by his nephews, nieces and the many lives he touched as a teacher, coach and friend. Our gratitude to the wonderful staff at PSFDH and to Dr. Brian Penney and Dr. Robin Conway. At Dad’s request, there will be no service. If desired, donations in Dad’s memory can be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Smiths Falls.
