John Olson “J” of Cochrane, AB passed away August 25, 2022 at the age of 54 years. He is predeceased by his wife Chris; his dad, Harvey and his best pal Taz.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Kaden, Tristan; his mother Joyce Olson (Glen Lien); sister Patti Janzen; brothers, Doug (Karen), Ritchie (Colleen), Bruce; step-daughter Amy (Mike) Moore; numerous aunt’s, uncle’s, nieces, nephews and friends.
“J” attended school in Sedgewick, AB to which he was active in sports. He worked for many farmers in the area. After graduation he went to Edmonton to get his heavy-duty mechanics, but his love was in “trucking”.
Memorial donations in “J’s” memory can be made to S.T.A.R.S. or to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
A graveside service for “J” will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Killam Cemetery.
Following the service, lunch for family and friends will be held at Joyce and Glen’s farm in Sedgewick 12048 – 444 roadway.
