DUCHARME, John Charles
December 7, 1954 – July 23, 2022
Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on July 23, 2022 in Windsor, ON. Beloved husband to Colleen Keller. Loving father to Amy (Matt). Cherished brother to Theresa, Debbie (Greg), Denise (Wayne), Frances, Brian, Shirley (Bob), Dennis (Carrie), Kim (Mark), Beverley (Andrew), Michelle (Marcel), Gigi, Leo (Lisa), and Rob. Also, lovingly remembered by his parents-in-law Des and Shirley McGuire and his sisters-in-law Kathleen and Darlene (Todd), and Kyle and Kody. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Reta. John will also be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. John worked for many years at Diageo in Amherstburg. He loved music, enjoyed playing hockey and was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and a sports enthusiast in general. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Central) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., between Kildare and Windemere, 519-253-7234 on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Windsor Es County Cancer Centre Foundation are welcomed and appreciated by the family.   1. John was my best friend he had a sense of humor and made me laugh. I went to his hockey games and he was the fastest skater I’ve ever seen. Sadly he was too short to become a pro hockey player. It was his dream. Deepest condolences to his brothers and sisters and his wife and daughter family members. Bev Nemeth
