Obituary of John D. Heinbuch
John Drummond Heinbuch (1928-2022)
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday January 6th,2022 in his 94th year. Predeceased by his wife of 62 years Marjorie Harris (2016) and brother Murray Heinbuch (2005). Father of Dave Heinbuch (Brenda Mckee), John Heinbuch (JoAnn) and Jim Heinbuch (Sandra Corsano). Devoted grandfather of Emma and Austin Heinbuch. Survived by nephews Stephen (Jenny), Phil (Mary) and Peter (Rose) Oliver and niece Sue Godsell (Jim).
John was a charter member of Parkminister United Church and retired from Bell Canada (1983). He enjoyed his second career farming at the Harris family farm in Kerwood Ontario until it was sold in 2002. John served as President of the Ontario section of the Canadian Amateur Swimming Association . In his retirement years , John enjoyed many games of bridge with family and friends and attending the Pops concerts at Centre in the Square. His skillful play at the game of cribbage was enjoyed by many opponents. He will be missed by family and friends . A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
