Obituary of John Dennis Stewart
Passed away at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, May 1, 2022, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Hodges) for 49 years. Proud and loving father of Jamie Stewart (Bobby John), Julie Stewart and Blair Stewart (Mandy) and cherished grandfather of Miesje, Tasha, Elisa, Logan, Vincent and Emilia. Survived by his sister Deena Batchilder (late Gordon) and brother Ed Stewart (Christine). Predeceased by his sister Cathy Gormley and by his parents Kathleen and Herbert Stewart. Fondly remembered by his extended family and his comrades in arms.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Wilton Hall (251 Simmons Road) on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 2-4 pm. Interment will be held at Wilton Cemetery at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to UHKF (University Hospitals Kingston Foundation) would be appreciated by the family.
