Obituary of John Dale McLean
John Dale McLean passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at his home in St. Marys on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the age of 90.
Beloved husband of 67 years to Marlene McLean (Powley). Father of Bev and Deane Taylor of Moonstone, and Rob and Gwen McLean of Tavistock. Grandfather of Amanda and Mark Humphrey, Justin Taylor, Ashley and Andrew McGough, and Al and Jody Cunning. Great-grandfather of Kaleb, Taryn, Bryson, Addison, Olivia, Easton, and Paisley. Brother of Lloyd and Helen McLean Nethercott ( both deceased), Bruce McLean (deceased) and his wife Erma, Murray McLean and Linda (deceased), Kenneth McLean (deceased), Jean and Earl Foster, Doris Forman and Ray and Leonard and Marg Boreham. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews.
John was a former partner of McLean Taylor Construction and in retirement, he enjoyed working on his old tractors and cars.
John’s family would like to thank the staff at One Care Home & Community Support Services and CarePartners for their wonderful support over the past few weeks.
A private family graveside service will take place at Avonbank Cemetery.
