John Zamborsky 1934-

Early in the morning of August 24th, 2022, my beloved and cherished husband John, passed away very gently and peacefully.
Dedicated and devoted to Josie Ruttenberg for more than 61 years, he was also father to Michael, brother to Ann (John) and son of the late Rozy Pawlak and the late George Zamborsky. Also survived by his sisters-in-law, Della (Barry), Roberta (Ben) and Joanne (David) and their families.
John was a Mr. Fixit to many, but if things worked, he had to discover why. Every pocket in all of his clothing contained a variety of nuts, bolts, screws, washers, nails and sometimes a quarter. He was a collector! That includes anything to do with his model electric trains.
After over 30 years as a machinist at the Montreal Gazette, he enjoyed a happy retirement. The wildlife around the lake interested him as did his regular walks with his beagles. John was full of determination, consideration and self discipline. His strong inner strength kept him going. Life was never dull.
Funeral and interment will take place in the spring.
We are most thankful to Pierre and Karen, as well as to Claudio and our “phone-pal” Bertha and to Dr. Shamy for their continuous support.
