A long-time resident of Wyoming, John is survived by his loving and caring partner Darlene Keates (Lumley). John will be deeply missed by his daughter Janelle and her husband Alan Hull of Kitchener, his daughter Jelissa and her husband Ross Buchanan of Waterdown, and his son Jordan and his wife Lindsay of Breslau. He was a proud Grandpa to Owen, Ryan, Gavin and Evan Hull, Carter, Presley, and Reagan Buchanan, and Jackson and Bryson Stewart. John successfully operated Stewart Electric for many years out of Wyoming and serviced much of Lambton County. He was also a devoted Lion and member of the Wyoming Lions Club. In 2017 he was awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow award for his many years of service and dedication with the Wyoming Lions. Additionally, in 2018 John was also presented with the Mayor’s Community Appreciation Award.
