John Steeves
1953-2022
John Douglas Steeves, age 69, of New Glasgow, passed away
Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New
Glasgow, he was a son of the late Murray and Frances (MacFarlane)
Steeves. John was a retired marine electrician with the Dept of
National Defense. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman
Catholic Church. He is survived by sisters: Nova Steeves, New Glasgow;
Verdie (Everett) Brannen, New Glasgow; nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by a sister, Nancy; nephew, Christopher. There will be no
visitation or service by request. Donations in his memory may be made
to the Saint Vincent de Paul, c/o St. John the Baptist. Arrangements
are under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New
Glasgow.
