Passed away peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Saturday, March 26, 2022. John Starr “Jack” Hambleton of Dalkeith; age 83 years. Beloved husband of 53 years to Claire Hambleton (nee Audet). Loving father of Carol Ann Hambleton of Dalkeith, Paul Starr Hambleton (Vicky) of Kingston, and Daphne Lou Hambleton (Régis) of Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Starr and Marshall Hambleton, and Kaitlin, Jesse, and Meghan Garand. Dear brother of Lloyd Hambleton (late Jean) of Dalkeith. Predeceased by his sister Norma Smith, and by his parents Starr and Hilda Hambleton. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9 am – 10;15 am. Funeral Service will be held in the St. John’s Anglican Church, Vankleek Hill on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Vankleek Hill. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by family.
