Our family and friends have lost a truly remarkable man after a short illness, John passed away peacefully with his wife at his side.
John immigrated from Poland in 1969 and graduated from the University of Alberta as a Mechanical Engineer in 1974. He had a very successful career in the Oil and Gas industry and was lucky to reitre early in 2000.
John was a world traveler, he and his wife, Bonnie, travelled to all seven continents in the world. He got to travel to many places that people only dream about seeing and he got great joy from his world adventures.
He will be remembered and deeply missed by many but in particular his wife and soulmate of 39 years, Bonnie; his only daughter, Nicole; son-in-law, Dave; and granddaughter, Adrianna. John had a great joy from being a grandparent. He also leaves behind his family in Poland, brother, Marek; niece, Martyna and Marcelina; nephews, Igor and Bartosz; and cousin, Krystyna in Vancouver. John was predeceased by his parents, Halina and Tadeusz.
