Born in Brant Township to the late Alex and Christina Poechman. John spent his working years on the family farm alongside, then next door to, his brother Ralph. Predeceased by his sister Marie McLaughlin and her husband Ed, brother Ralph Poechman and his wife Phyllis, sister Eileen Flaman and her husband Bob, sister Anne Van Eyk and her husband Frank, brother-in-law Earl Jackson, sister Louise Hafermehl and her husband Harvey.
A visitation will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, Carlsruhe, on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 10 – 10:45 am, followed by the funeral mass at 11am. Interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Carlsruhe.
