Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, November 11, 2022, John M. Murphy of Carbonear, age 86 years.
Predeceased by parents: Michael and Mary; sister: Alice; brother: Edward.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Patricia; two daughters: Kelly and Mary Ellen; two sisters: Mary Tobin, Carbonear and Ellen Berube, New Hampshire, U.S.; also a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, November 13 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, November 14 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Foodbank, 3 Park Avenue, Carbonear, A1Y 1A3.
