John Maher
1936-2022
John Maher of Pole Hill passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022
at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was born in
Newfoundland on August 16, 1936. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose
Maher in 2020.
John is survived by his
daughters, Teena (Chris Fitzherbert) Kinney of Four Falls, Angel
(Edward Morley) Maher of Tilley, Appelonia (Arthur Gamblin) Maher of
Woodstock; grandchildren, Richard Foster, Julian (Jessica Chapman)
Morley, Shavanna (Christopher Wortman) Morley, Cordell Morley, Athena
Gamblin, Ares Gamblin; great grandchildren, Jayleigh DeMerchant and
Nova Wortman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the
Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland from 1 to 2 p.m. The
funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor
Michael Horsman officiating. The interment will be in the
People’s Church Cemetery in Somerville. If so desired,
donations can be made t the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
