John Lloyd Maaba Barrion was only 19 years old when he died from a homicide on Feb. 15, 2022.
Born on January 28, 2003, John Lloyd matured into a respectful, responsible and loving son with ambitions of one day becoming a chef.
He was born to his loving parents, Manuel Barrion and Maria Maaba and was the middle child of five children. He will always be remembered by his brothers: John Emmanuel, John Christian, John Paul and sister, Maria Angela.
John Lloyd to his close friends knew him as a thoughtful, cheerful gentleman that brightened up the mood. The void he leaves with his absence will be impossible to fill but “God plucks the most beautiful flowers first.”
A viewing service prayer will be held at Mosaic Funeral Home, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Winnipeg on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 6:00pm. A funeral mass will be held the following day, Thursday at 11:00am at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. The burial will follow after.
