Peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Betty (nee McGlennon). Loving father of John (Donna) and Peter (Leanne). Cherished grandfather of Sara, Heather (Mike), Crystal (Greg) and Dan. Great grandfather of Kaiden and Aliviah. Dear son of the late Walter and the late Ruth. Survived by his sister Jill and his nieces and nephews (Jane, Sam, Joshua, Joe and Lily, Sue, Steve, Hannah and Oliver and Jonathan, Aileen, Thomas, and Louise). Jack’s bigger than life personality, smile and heart will be missed by his family and lifelong friends (especially within the farming community and in England (Ron). An interment of cremated remains will take place in the spring in Lakeport Cemetery followed by a celebration of Jack’s life. Donations to the Parkinson Canada – Northumberland Chapter or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
