Obituary
Peacefully passed away on Sunday October 9th, 2022 at his home. He is survived by his children Marlene (Eric) Van Dyne, Bill (Lyn) Basso, Noreen (Ed) Adamiec, Marilyn (Terry) Totten, Nancy St. Jean (Bergen Phinny), Mike (Dawn) Basso and Mark (Judy) Basso. He will be missed by his 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, his siblings, Faye (Howard) Pierce, Marnie (Ed) Schafe and Jim Basso, his many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. He will be greatly missed by his constant companion “Bear”.
Predeceased by his son Lawrence, siblings Ellen, Joyce and Harry.
Jack enjoyed the sport of hockey and country and western music.
In following Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday October 15th, 2022 at Raney Funeral Chapel from 1-3 p.m.
If so desired, memorial donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
