It is with sadness that we announce the death of
John Lorne “Jack” Snowdon, 90,
of Dorchester, NB, on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Moncton
Hospital.
Jack was born in Wood Point, NB, a son of the late Harold
and Elizabeth (McFadden) Snowdon.
Jack loved fishing and the out doors. He fished everywhere, anywhere,
and any time her could.
Jack will be dearly missed by, his children, Sharon
(Brian) Snowdon, Calgary, Peggy (Carson Trenholm) Sears, Dorchester
Cape, Debbie Pepper, Port Elgin, Joy (Charlie Nixon) Calgary; the
mother of his children, Deanna, Port Elgin; several grandchildren,
great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was the last surviving member of his immediate
family. Besides
his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda in October,
2021; his son, Mike in February, 2022; two grandsons, BJ and Anthony,
as well as several brothers and sister.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Honouring Jack’s wishes,
cremation has taken place and there are to be no services at this
time.
Donations in memory of Jack may be made to a charity
of the donor’s choice.
