John Barry Illingworth, age 77, of Clinton and formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 28, 2022. Born in Stratford, son of the late John and Jessie Illingworth.
Beloved husband of Laura (Gould). Stepfather of Linda Van Kooten, Beverly Hesse Hearn and Barbara Wahl (David). Step grandfather to Jacob Van Kooten (Stacey), Lucas Van Kooten (Linsey), Kayla Hearn, Laura Hearn, Travis Wahl and Jessica Wahl. Also survived by step great grandchildren Annika, Ashton, Aaden, Adalynn, Christian. Predeceased by stepdaughter Cheryl Ann Hesse.
A private family interment will take place at Avondale Cemetery. A celebration of John’s life will be held in August and will be announced. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through the W.G.
