John “Dick” Richard Storr
1941-2022
RICHIBUCTO, NB – John “Dick” Richard
Storr, 80, of Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Dr.
Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Tuesday, July
19th, 2022. Born in Verdun, QC, Dick was the
son of the late John “Jack” Richard Storr and the late Verna
Eales. John retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force in the
mid-eighties to then finish his working career as a guard for the RCMP
station in Richibucto. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion
Stevenson Branch 30, Richibucto.
Dick leaves to mourn his son, Michael Storr (Rachel) of
Moncton; his grandson, Logan Storr; as well as his loving caregiver
and companion, M. Jean Stinson.
Dick will also be sadly missed by his sister, Ann Blanchette
(Jean) of Yarmouth, MA; his two brothers, Dale (Darlene Clarke) of St.
Andrews and Kenny (Wendy) of McAdam; his sister-in-law, Susan Storr of
Alberta; as well as by his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Dick was predeceased by his brother,
David.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral
service will be held on Friday, July 29th, 2022
at 10:30 am, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto. In
lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Stevenson
Branch 30 would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements are in the professional care of Thompson Funeral
