John Clay Fraser 19702022

John Clay Fraser
1970-2022
John Clay Fraser was a man that if you were lucky enough to
have met, you knew what a kind, good-hearted, compassionate and
genuine man he was. He was the salt of the earth, forever thinking of
others, ready to listen and lend some advice. He always welcomed you
with a big warm hug, gosh, he gave great hugs! He did no harm to
others and cared deeply for his family and friends. His warm smile,
quick wit and his lust for life brightened all of those around
him.
He was a creative man that enjoyed saving relics from the
side of the road, finding solutions to fix things, building and doing
small projects, as well as dabbling in other forms of art. “A
John of all trades!”
He and his wife Amanda were soul mates and loved each other
immensely. They shared a beautiful life together that was filled with
love, laughter, trust, patience and communication. Their
Frasworthy home was a place where many friends often gather to share
laughter, enjoy music, play games and make memories.
John certainly had more life to live and more love to give
but his path was cut short. At the young age of 51 he leaves behind
many loved ones with a huge void that will never be filled.
He was welcomed home by his parents Dale and Eric Fraser,
leaving behind the love of his life Amanda Axworthy, his little big
brother Jeremy Fraser (Tara), little sister Jessica Young (Justin),
mother and father in-law Carol and Weston Axworthy, sister
in-laws Trisha Axworthy, Tracy Huggan (Darryl) and (Wade).
All of his nieces and nephews that he held very dear; Brooklynn,
Madison, Hannah, Noah, Harper, Oliver, Katlyne, Jillian, Marissa,
Makayla along with great nieces. Lots of great friends too and S.W
Tanya Goodwin and Amy McQuillan,
In lieu of flowers or if anyone would like to contribute to
John Clay’s memorial garden you can make a monetary

A private Celebration of Life will be held for family and
friends.
John is likely up there listening to The Hip, dancing to the
rhythm with only the dance moves that John had and he’ll be
practicing his “honeyfire” for spring
ball.
Don’t think we’re far apart, for every
time you think of me, I’m right there in your
heart.
