It is with broken hearts that the family of the late John Cheeseman of Marystown, formerly of Rushoon announces his passing. John passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, at the age of 71.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Sarah of 44 years; sons, Blair of Labrador City, Curtis (Katherine) of Burin; mother-in-law, Ursula Synard of Marystown; sisters, Ellen Theresa Lundrigan of Rushoon, Geraldine Smith (Carl) of Boat Harbour; brothers, Patrick (Marie) of Rushoon, Len of Marystown; sister-in-laws, Laura Whiffen (Tom) of Marystown, Judy Whiffen (Angus) of Woodstock, NB; brother-in-law, Sam Synard (Cynthia) of Marystown; as well as his many nieces and nephews; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
John was predeceased by parents, John and Theresa Cheeseman; father-in-law, Clayton Synard; brother-in-law, Rick Synard and Patrick Lundrigan.
The Cheeseman Family will be accepting visitors at Wisemans Funeral Home, Marystown on
Saturday, September 24 at
7pm to 9pm,
Sunday, September 25 at
10am to 12pm
2pm to 4pm
7pm to 9pm
Monday, September 26 at
10am to 12pm
Funeral mass will take place from Sacred Heart R.C. church on Monday September 26 at 2pm.
In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation will follow.
Inurnment to take place at a date and time to be announced.
