Obituary
John B. Fairley, formerly of McGivney, NB, passed away on December 5, 2022, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital in Alberta.
John was born November 3, 1946, in McGivney, NB. He was the son of the late William & Patricia (Sullivan) Fairley. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant brother Billy & brother Patrick (Rose); his sisters Lucy & Elizabeth (Clarence) Saunders; nieces Terri (Darren), Julie (John), nephew Owen (Laurie); and cousins Patrick & Hedley. He is survived by Olivia (Reginald) Conroy of Red Deer, NB; Winston (Linda) Fairley of Carlingford, NB. Also nephews Tom, Steven, Derek, Clarence, Kelly, Billy, Toni & nieces Beth (Gary), Lori & Linda. He also lost his beloved dog Beauregard.
John was a passionate outdoorsman who loved camping, hunting & fishing. He was also a licensed guide. Over the years he worked in forestry, in Winnipeg, Marysville Cotton Mill & the McGivney Army Camp. He cared for his aging parents in McGivney in their declining years until their deaths. He will be missed by all.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home (506-273-4155), 105 F. Tribe Road, Perth-Andover, NB. Respecting John’s wishes there will be no funeral.
