Johannes Arthur Hystek passed away peacefully on Thursday September 15th, 2022, surrounded by his family. John’s last few days were spent sharing photos, music, and fond memories. There were precious moments of laughter, joy, sorrow, deep affection and finding his faith in God. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to his following passions: Salvation Army Thrift Store, Mission Thrift Store, Humane Society, and Chatham Outreach for Hunger. A private funeral service has been planned. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 24t Wellington St. West, Chatham, Ontario, 519-352-2710.
