Faria, Joao – Passed away peacefully at Sekura House Hospice, Woodstock, on Sunday February 27, 2022 at the age of 69. Loving husband of Fatima Faria. Cherished father of Nancy Faria, Michael Faria and the late Kevin Faria. Proud grandfather of Dwayne Nsingo, Sierra Faria, Brandon Faria and Ares Pereira. Beloved son of Maria Dos Anjos and the late Jose Faria. Joao will also be missed by his siblings Tereza (Eduardo) Trinidade, Tony (Maria) Faria, Mario (Madeline) Faria and the late Ascenaso Ferreira as well as his brother-in-law Manuel Ferreira, extended family and friends. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday March 2, 2022 from 7-9p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge, on Thursday March 3, 2022 at 10:30a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
