Obituary of Joanne McClymount
Passed peacefully, at Idlewyld Manor, on April 20, 2022 (420) in her 78th year. Joanne is predeceased by her husband Gordon and her parents Albert and Rose Tofani.
Loving mother of daughter Jody, wife Rhonda, and Son Carey, wife Colleen. Cherished grandmother of Sean and Taylor. Survived by her sister Jeanette Robertson, nephew Brad wife Linda and their children Bryce, Connor and Chandler.
Joanne was the proud owner or Turpins Redwood Inn for 10 years. She had many friends and family who loved to visit her there, and enjoy the food and entertainment that she worked so hard to provide.
She also enjoyed when her sons band KAJUN would practice in the basement. One of her favorite songs they played was “Mama let him play” by Jerry Doucette. Ironically Jerry Doucette passed away the day before her.
When she got home from a long day at work and the band was still practicing, she would send a note through the ceiling vent in the basement telling the guys to “take a break”. The note always had a special treat with it. The band and all their friends always looked forward to seeing her, and we will all miss her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to long term care home Idlewyld Manor, Hamilton. Special thank to everyone there. They really took excellent care of her and our family!
Cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Joanne
