Joanne Mary

Joanne Mary Winter 2022

Surrounded by her loving family, at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Center on Tuesday April 19th, 2022, Joanne passed away peacefully, at the age of 65. Beloved wife of the late Ian (Cy) Winter. She will be deeply missed by daughters Sarah Clow (Andrew) and Rebecca Winter (Dusty). Proud grandmother of Emma and Dylan Clow, Olivia and Riley Ainsworth. Sister of Rick Clemow (Karen) and Paul Clemow (Sherri). Sister-in-law of Michael Winter (Sue), Sheila MacDonald (Ken), and Eric Winter (Ruth). Joanne will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Joanne always had a great attitude toward life, she loved to golf, travel, and to spend time with family and friends. With her jokes and contagious smile, she could always make someone’s day better. She lived her life saying of, “in a world where you can be anything, be kind!” The family wishes to acknowledge the exceptional care of Dr. Francesco Mulé, and the loving care provided by the nurses, staff, and volunteers at Ed’s House. Private burial will be held for family. Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the Cobourg Legion, 135B Orr Street, Cobourg, Ontario, Friday May 6th, 2022, at 2pm. If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Center. edshouse.northumberlandhospice.ca/
