Obituary for Joanne Elaine Trudgen
Joanne Elaine Trudgen, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on January 12, 2022. Daughter of the late Stanley Johnson and Mary Johnson-Hart. Loving Mom to Dewayne (Marcia), Charlie, Kathy (John), Todd, Darla and the late Freddie. Cherished by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly as a dear sister to Stanley Jr, Josephine, Alicia, the late John as well as her cherished nieces, nephews and extended family. Joanne was predeceased by her 1st husband Allan Logan and remembered by her 2nd husband Darryl Trudgen. She worked for many years at the Wallaceburg Glass Factory and was a residential school survivor. Family and friends are invited for community visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm. Burial to follow at Highbanks Cemetery, Walpole Island.
