Obituary of Joan Ann Ferrier
Ferrier, Joan Ann
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden and unexpected death of our beloved mother and grandmother Joan Ann Ferrier. She died peacefully at home on Sunday, November 27th, 2022 at the age of 83. She was the cherished mother of Judy Ferrier (Dan) and Randy Ferrier (Tracy). Joan was the dearly loved grandmother and best friend of Matthew. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Theresa and Ruth, and she will be missed terribly by her devoted canine companion Button. Predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur in 2016, and by her brothers Freddie, Martin and Hubert. Joan will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by the congregation at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church where she had been a decades long member. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to her dear friend Lois Cameron, who was always there for mom.
Mom was known for her: Jello salads and Nanaimo bars, her love of step-dancing; often performing a dance or two on St. Patrick’s Day; her kindness, generosity, youthful spirit and the sparkle in her eye. She had a strong faith in God and will be missed terribly.
