It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan, our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother at the Selkirk Hospital with her loving family at her side at the age of 95 years.
Joan will be sadly missed by her daughter Anne Courage (Robert Gillespie) son Jim McCarthy (Darlene Magas), son Dennis (Heidi) McCarthy, grandchildren Drew, Marnie, Ryan, Meaghan, Bohdan, Katie, Joshua, Patrick and their families. She will also be lovingly remembered be her special friend Frank George.
She was predeceased by her first husband Charles McCarthy, second husband Stephen Warrener and her dear daughter Patricia McCarthy.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 10:30am at Seasons Funeral Chapel 576 Balsam Crescent in OakBank.
