McIntee, Joan Louise (nee Williams)
Went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband, Ross McIntee, and parents, Ted and Elsie Williams. Joan is survived by her loving daughter Mary Gianotti (Chuck) and son John McIntee (Natalie). Cherished grandmother of six and great grandmother of seventeen. Lovingly remembered by brother Mark Williams (Phyllis). Joan loved the Lord Jesus, having committed her life to Christ as a child and served the Lord at Thorold South Gospel Chapel (Rolling Meadows Bible Chapel), in children’s work, ladies ministries, and missionary support. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Community of Lookout Ridge. Friends will be received by the family at the Pelham Funeral Home, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill, ON, on this Friday, March 11th, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service to honour Joan’s life will take place at the Rolling Meadows Bible Chapel, 54 Sunset Way, Thorold, ON, on Saturday, March 12th beginning at 11:00 a.m. You can view the service via livestream here: youtu.be/UGmSbLqHJbc. A private interment will take place on a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Ridgeville. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the MSC Canada for the support of missionary widows.
