Joan Dunn
Passed away peacefully 23 November 2022, age 92 years. Born in Liverpool UK, Joan Clark was orphaned at an early age. She was raised by her maternal grandparents and with her older sister Joyce, she lived through the nightly bombing raids of World War II.
She became a banking officer, married fellow banker Gordon Dunn in 1952 and was a homemaker for sons Stephen & Michael. A lover of arts & crafts Joan was an expert knitter, embroider and also a fabulous cook and loved to entertain friends and family with delicious meals. She immigrated to Ontario in 1992. Our thanks to the wonderful staff at Riverwood Senior Living and Matthew’s House, Alliston.
