It is with great sadness that we announce that our mother Joan passed away while surrounded by her family on Friday, 25th March 2022, at the age of 76. “I’ve had a great life. It was filled with love and laughter. I went everywhere I wanted to go and did all the things I wanted to do.” Beloved wife of the late James Alexander Cruickshank, proud mother to her children, Tammy and Sean (Sherri-Lynn) Reaume, and Karen and Carrie Lynn Cruickshank, and loving nana to Sean (Alicia), Scott and Caleigh LeClair. She will be dearly missed by her baby sisters Lynda Marden and Carolyn Kidd and her nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St on Saturday, April 9th, 2022, after 12:00 pm, a Memorial Service will begin at 1 pm, followed by reception. Memorial donations can be made to Amnesty International, 312 Laurier Ave E, Ottawa ON K1N 1H9.

Dearest Joan,
I shall always remember the lovely times when you came to London and we met up with Tammy. I shall never forget your comfort and kindness in September 2013.
I give thanks that I saw you in October 2021 at the gathering in Isleworth. A very precious memory.
I shall never forget you.
May you rest in peace.
