Obituary of Jim Gammon
Gammon, James William- 74 Harrigan Cove, died Friday February 11, 2022 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born December 26, 1947 in Harrigan Cove he was a son of the late Norman & Carrie (MacDonald) Gammon. Jim was a good and caring husband to Janice over the years. In his working life Jim worked in construction, lobster fishing, in Ontario for Bauers Felt, Canada Packers in the produce department. He was an intelligent and great conversationalist, especially about current affairs. He was always kind and was known to say “take care of yourself”. In his spare time he enjoyed trout fishing. Survived by his wife Janice (Harbourview Lodge), Sheet Harbour, brother Joe (Linda), Halifax, several nieces and nephews, and good friend Roger MacDonald. Predeceased by sister Rita MacDonald, brother Clarence “Bob”, half brother Arthur MacDonald, sister Audrey in infancy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral by request.
