Obituary for Jim Deelstra
On Monday May 2, 2022 James “Jim” Deelstra (age 59) was welcomed into the loving arms of his Saviour, Jesus Christ. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 35 years, Diane (Sparling) and his loving children and six amazing grandchildren Josh (Claudia) and their children Emma and Eli, Derek (Megan) and their children Wyatt, Sadie and Hallie, and Amy (Keith) and their daughter Layla. Survived by his mother Alice Deelstra and sisters Debbie (Kirk) and Mary Gail (Todd), mother-in-law Kathleen Sparling, and sister-in-law Sharon (Steve) and brother-in-law Nathan (Caroline). Jim will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Ralph Deelstra (2016). Jim had an unwavering faith in God and he honoured Him daily by dedicating his life to being an amazing husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy of all, were his amazing grandchildren. A private service will take place. Interment of will be in Wyoming Cemetery.
