Remembering Betty Orr
March 31, 1936 – April 15, 2022
Jessie Elizabeth Rothney Orr, lovingly known as Betty by all of her family and friends, passed away peacefully on April 15th, 2022 at the age of 86 years.
Betty is survived by her two children, Jim Orr and Jacki (Terry) Torraville; grandsons, Dustin Orr and Brad Stodola; granddaughter, Chelsey Anderson; great grandson, Riley and Harvey Anderson; and along with extended family and many dear friends.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Annie Smith; sisters, June Withers, Patsy Backewhich, and Glenna Zuffa; and brothers, Rocky “Jim” Smith and Gladwyn “Glady” Smith.
A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be held at Wilson’s Funeral Chapel, 6120 Hwy 2A, Lacombe AB, on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
Memorial donations in honour of Betty may be directed to a local charity which supports animals, which she loved dearly; or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
