Jerry Lynn Cooper Sr. (Coop) – age 62 of Mascot passed away Friday, February 25, 2022. He had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was an employee of ASARCO in the Young Mines for over 20 years.
Preceded in death by his parents; James and Betty Cooper and brothers; Paul and Junior Cooper.
Survivors include sons; Jerry (Courtney) Cooper Jr, Johnny (Jennifer) Cooper, and daughter; Amanda (Craig) Chaffins; grandchildren; Nicolas, Elijah, Skylar, Kenley, Bentley, and Kaelynn. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022 with funeral services to follow at 7:00PM with Reverend Mike Vincent officiating. Family and friends will meet at Rutledge Pike Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:45 AM for a 12:00 PM interment Friday, March 4, 2022.
