Obituary
Kirkpatrick, Jennifer Sylvia
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Sylvia Kirkpatrick at home on October 28, 2022, loving wife of Kent and caring stepmother of Kyle and Kaitlin.
Jen was born to Robert and Truth Nugent on October 4, 1967 in Arnprior, Ontario where she was lovingly raised with her sisters Laurel (Stan), Paula (Mickey), Rosemary (Chris) and brother Chris.
Jen loved people and was open and warm with all those that she met. Many will remember her smile and laughter and the positivity and gratitude with which she lived her life. Jen didn’t allow any of this to be diminished by the challenges of living with metastatic cancer for over twelve years and was an inspiration to all who travelled that road with her.
Jen was a light in the lives of all those whom she loved and she will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held in early December in Carleton Place.
Donations in her memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, an organization to which she committed hundreds of hours of her time.
