Jean Spurr 1937 2022

Obituary of Jean Spurr
Spurr, Jean – 85 of Annapolis Royal, passed away August 15, 2022, in Digby General Hospital. Born May 9, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Margaret “Maggie” Mailman.
Jean was known as a kind, loving lady, who was very giving. She was always willing to forgive and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She had a great love for her animals, especially her cat “Leroy”, which she leaves behind.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Darlene of Middle Sackville, Diann of Annapolis Royal, Doreen of Halifax; grandchildren, Carriann, Brandon (Laura), Jesse, Shantel (Brad); great grandchildren, Lennox, Dawson, Weston; and special relative, Judy Clayton. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her daughter, Laura. Jean loved all her grandchildren, but had an especially close and loving bond with granddaughter, Carriann, who will sorrowfully miss her.
The family would like to thank Jean’s homecare workers over the years, who enabled her to stay in her own home, also to the doctors and nurses of the Digby General Hospital for her care.
A graveside service will be held 1pm, Sunday August 21, 2022, in the Graywood Cemetery, with Marilyn Kaulbach officiating. Donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Annapolis Community Health Centre. Online condolences may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
